The Counselor In Training Program (CIT) is a leadership program designed to help former campers transition to becoming counselors once they are 18.  CITs receive thorough training prior to the start of camp as well as ongoing training throughout the summer. A credentialed LAUSD teacher conducts the trainings.

A maximum of 5 CITs are accepted per session.

CIT PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

·      CITs must be entering / enrolled in high school.  At minimum, CITs must be entering 9th grade.

·      CITs must commit to a minimum of one full session (mon – fri). 

TUITION

The tuition for a first year CIT is $200 for the entire summer, regardless of the number of sessions worked.  The tuition for a second year CIT is $100 for the entire summer, regardless of the number of sessions worked.  There is no cost for 3rd year CITs and beyond.
